Dr. Cristin Dugan found her way to audiology through an audiology course while pursuing her bachelor’s degree. The class sparked her interest for personal reasons — she had watched her father experience the effects of untreated hearing loss for most of her life. Her dad became one of her first patients in graduate school.
Dr. Dugan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in applied learning development from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005, and she earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Texas Tech University in 2016. Between her undergraduate and graduate degrees, she worked in telecommunications as well as with kids, both as a nanny and in childcare. She also volunteered with Any Baby Can in Austin. Upon completing her fourth-year internship at the Hearing and Tinnitus Center in Irving, she began working at Audiology Associates of Southern Oregon in May 2016.
Dr. Dugan is a wife, mom, and dog owner. Her family enjoys hiking, cooking, playing board games, and watching movies.
